Geoffrey Pike is a self-taught artist originally from New Zealand. He moved to Perth in 2010 and then to Melbourne in 2020. His artwork is heavily influenced by the natural world and most of his pieces involve water in some way. Geoffrey’s art is a blend of abstract and realism. He strives to create pieces that evoke emotion. With regular visits to the Saltwater Coast and the Great Ocean Road, Geoffrey draws his inspiration from the nature around him and translates it onto his paintings. His works are vivid, colourful and full of life, depicting the pure beauty of the ocean and its wildlife.
