Wendy Joyce is a West Australian artist who works between the Wheatbelt and Perth whilst raising a family. Her alternate ego coaches competitive swimming so she spends significant time looking at water. Wendy is fascinated by light and water and their affects on subject matter. She primarily work in oils and watercolours and will paint virtually anything; however the majority of her work features water and or coastal scenes often involving women and children.
