Born in 1949 in Sydney, Tim studied at the National Art School. He was a Trustee of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and was awarded the Order of Australia AM for his services to art. Tim’s work has been collected by all major Australian art galleries and is included in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of Western Australia, Museum and Art Galleries of the Northern Territory, Darwin and Queensland Art Gallery. He has had many overseas exhibitions and has won the Archibald and Sulman Prize.
